Child and Adolescent Therapy offers a safe space for young people to talk through worries, feelings, and challenges. I work with issues like anxiety, low mood, behaviour struggles, friendship difficulties, and school refusal.
Therapy is practical and supportive. I focus on strategies that fit real life, so parents know how to respond, schools understand what helps, and young people feel heard and more confident.

Strategies for daily life

My daughter was very anxious at first, but Louise made her feel safe straight away. We noticed a real difference in her confidence and mood after only a few sessions.

Parents are central to the process. I work with you as well as your child, so you feel informed and supported. You’ll be kept up to date on progress, given practical strategies to use at home, and know how to work alongside the school if needed.
Therapy is most effective when parents feel included and confident in their part.
The first meeting is about listening and understanding. It gives me a chance to learn more about your child’s needs and for your child to get comfortable.
Together, we set simple goals and agree on the best way forward — so you know exactly what the focus will be from the start.
